01Product identity and Offer terms
Product describes the item shoppers see, including its name, image, description, and brand. Each Offer describes a way to buy it, including a numeric price, currency, availability, and the absolute URL for that offer. A Product may contain one Offer or a list of offers for distinct variants.
02Fields and formats checked here
The checker looks for a Schema.org @context and Product or Offer @type. For Product it reviews name, image, description, and brand. For every Offer it reviews a non-negative numeric price, a three-letter ISO 4217 priceCurrency, an absolute HTTP or HTTPS url, and a recognized ItemAvailability URL such as https://schema.org/InStock, OutOfStock, PreOrder, or Discontinued. These checks do not cover every Schema.org or Google property.
03Google features have different requirements
Product snippet and merchant listing experiences have feature-specific required and recommended properties. For example, priceCurrency is recommended for product snippets and required for merchant listings when a price is provided. A result from this focused checker is not a Google eligibility decision; review the current feature guidance for the experience you want.
04Keep changing facts aligned with their source
Pasted markup cannot establish whether a live page, Merchant Center feed, inventory system, or business fact is accurate. Compare each offer with the visible page and current source data. Keep price, currency, selected variant, and availability in sync as the catalog changes instead of maintaining stale values in a copied template.
